I decided we wouldn't go all out for Halloween since G is only 8months old, but it turns out, anyone with kids is required to go trick-or-treating. Who knew?
The neighbors called and said they were going with their son, Jackson, and her sister's kids and invited us along. I did buy Gen a costume but was insistent we would NOT collect candy because I would be the one eating it... I must say Genevieve makes one darn cute ladybug.
We made it home in time for a trailer (yes, an actual flat-bed trailer with hay bales for seats) full of kids to nearly empty out our bowl.
We made one more stop to visit our friend, Kim, next door, who had thoughtfully bought us some puffs for treats instead of candy! So sweet!
I attempted to push back dinner and subsequently bedtime to avoid an hour earlier wake up in the morning. But Baby G was exhausted even after a great afternoon nap and wanted to go to bed at her usual time. I managed to make it a whole 15min later. awesome.
Cross your fingers we aren't awake at 5am; even 6am on my days off is rough. Ugh, I am NOT a morning person; it is very unfortunate that my sweet baby IS.
When does Geoff come home again? Not soon enough.
love to all!

Such a cutie-pie lady bug! Sure can tell her mommy loves her. SOunds like you had a lot of fun (and it only gets better!) We had to miss Halloween this year for an acting gig-I suppose it counts if we wear costumes... Hope she/you handled the time change better than the cats-they can't understand why they're not being fed on time!
