blogging has commenced...

Now that Geoff is off to Maryland for school, I thought it easier to start filling everyone in on the happenings of Genevieve and the rest of us via blog. I hope you enjoy! (If not, well... that's your problem.)

Geoff left on Saturday and drove all night in the Civic and was able to get over 40mpg! He started classes this morning and even ironed his shirt for it! ...like the first day of kindergarten, too bad I wasn't there to take his picture.
They have him staying in a Starwood Hotel, part of the Westin group, and from the pictures, it looks sweet! Geoff was sure to sign up for their points prior to leaving so we have more choices for places to stay on our many vacations in the future. ha!

Genevieve and I have had a couple quiet days at home with our usual Target and Joann's trips. I finally got the gumption to work on kitchen window coverings after the neighbor had a big outdoor party. If I could see everything they were doing... I think they could see everything I was doing. hmm.
I'm glad it's raining today; Geoff told me I need to water the lawn every few days or once a week-ish but (bless his heart) put away all the hoses in the garage.

Baby G's hair is also getting long! I finally put it in a little "bambam" ponytail- so cute!

She is also scooting all over the place and occasionally pulling her knees up! ack! I still have a lot of baby-proofing to do!
